We were proud to attend Bothell Pride at Moonlight on Main as well as Pride Celebration at Kirkland Urban as part of our ongoing commitment to the LGBTQ2IA+ community. Many of the young people we serve identify as LGBTQ2IA+, and events like this give us the opportunity to show up, be visible, and remind the community that there are welcoming spaces, supportive resources, and a true sense of belonging available. Celebrating Pride is so important, especially this year. We are living at a time where across the United States, we are witnessing an alarming rise in policies that target LGBTQ2IA+ youth, limiting their access to the resources and support they need.

This month, Friends of Youth is Giving OUT to raise critical funds for LGBTQ2IA+ youth experiencing homelessness. It is not too late to Give OUT as Pride month is still ongoing and every dollar you give is a message to young people that we see them, we care, and we are here. Give OUT today at wagives.org/donate/Friends-Of-Youth!
