Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following: used appliances; used mattresses or pillows; used personal hygiene items; used car seats; used electrical equipment in poor or suspect repair; candles, lighters and other flammable materials; used paint; any items subject to prior consumer product recall; hazardous chemicals; firearms or other weapons; used vehicles.

  • Teenager / young adult working bikes

  • Outdoor picnic table umbrellas

  • Volleyball net, outdoor sports equipment

  • Gardening supplies

  • Grills (including propane and utensils)

  • Musical instruments (guitars, amps, bass, keyboards and other supplies)

  • Age-appropriate, culture-current DVDs and Video Games

  • Art Supplies

  • Gift Cards for food, clothing, and household supplies (Including for our group homes: furniture, décor, art / frames - and in particular, matching and quality living room furniture / couches)

  • Hygiene Items (New and full-sized hair care products, body wash, deodorant, razors, shaving cream)

  • Cleaning Supplies (laundry detergent, kitchen / bathroom cleaners, Swiffers, etc.)

  • Diapers (all sizes)

  • New clothing and shoes (larger sizes needed, and in particular: underwear, shorts, athletic wear, business attire and rain jackets)

  • Household move-in items (For example: bedroom and bathroom linens, cookware and dining sets, cleaning and laundry supplies, hangers, and rugs)

  • Duffel bags, adult-sized backpacks and other types of luggage for youth moving out of our shelters and transitional living residences

  • Non-perishable snacks and meals for youth accessing drop-in services (For example: cup of noodles, boxed pasta, canned meat, peanut butter, cheese crackers, fruit snacks, jerky, granola bars) 

  • Donated Time

    • Tutoring (High school level especially)

    • Life skills instruction (For example: cooking, doing taxes, budget creation / personal finance / opening a bank account, changing a tire or changing oil, and more!)

    • Music lessons

    • Bike repairs

    • Gardening, Landscaping

    • Interior Decorating
