opportunities to support youth, young adults and families during upcoming fall and winter holidays

Kitchen Assistant

Interested in assisting our Kitchen Manager at Willows Youth Service Center? We are looking for volunteers who would like to help with kitchen prep and organization. There are two shifts available from 11:00am – 3:00pm and 3:00 – 7:00pm, Monday and Tuesday. Contact Meggan at volunteer@friendsofyouth.org for a volunteer application and to get started.

Giving Thanks

Youth, young adults and families celebrate the Fall holidays with a multitude of traditions.  By donating grocery store and restaurant gift cards throughout October, you can ensure that they have access to healthy, fresh, and culturally relevant foods this fall season.

Check out our Amazon Gift Registry, email digital cards to inkind@friendsofyouth.org, or drop off cards at the Kirkland Youth Services Center located at 13116 NE 132nd, Kirkland, WA, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Giving Tree is Around the Corner!

Friends of Youth and its partners are preparing to start our Annual Giving Tree Program. Each year we collect gifts based on the wishes of our clients to meet their needs and desires. Last year we collected over 2000 gifts from 50 partners to distribute!

If you are interested in hosting a Giving Tree location this year, please reach out to Meggan at meggan@friendsofyouth.org for more information.

This program is a fun and impactful way for you, your family, and your community to bring joy to a young person this season! Be on the lookout for more information coming soon including requested wishes and Giving Tree partner locations.
