celebrating national safe place week

Friends of Youth Safe Place Coordinators Sara Clinton and Jenny Buehler participated in National Safe Place Week from March 17 - 23. This nationally recognized week is dedicated to raising awareness about Safe Place, an early intervention and homelessness prevention program for youth ages 12 - 17. Sara and Jenny raised awareness for National Safe Place and Friends of Youth by speaking at City Council meetings, participating in radio interviews, visiting Safe Place sites, and mailing over 300 letters to Safe Place community partners.
