At Friends of Youth, we believe community grows stronger when people have space to gather, connect, and care for one another. Recently, we were honored to open our Kirkland Youth Services Center (KYSC) administration office's large conference room to community partners for two meaningful events, each rooted in collaboration, equity, and shared purpose.
We were grateful to host Eastside Pathways for their recent gathering event that brought together regional leaders and partners focused on aligning resources and increasing collective impact. Through thoughtful discussion and relationship building, participants identified areas of shared alignment and planning for supporting young people and families. Friends of Youth was proud to provide space for this important work and to engage in conversations that elevate community strengths and future possibilities.
Our space was also filled with creativity, care, and connection during the first annual Warm Up America Yarn Event, hosted by Eastside Pride PNW. Community members gathered to knit and crochet squares that will be donated to Warm Up America, transforming time together into tangible acts of warmth and care. Beyond crafting, the event created opportunities to connect, share stories, and imagine future gatherings. We were delighted to see our space used in a way that fostered belonging, joy, and shared purpose.
Hosting these events reminded us of the power of shared space and collective care. We were especially grateful to welcome community members into our building, answer questions about our work, learn from our partners, and support efforts that uplift children, youth, and families across our region. At Friends of Youth, we remain committed to being a place where collaboration is nurtured, voices are valued, and community-led work is supported. We look forward to continuing to open our doors to partnerships that strengthen connection, advance equity, and build a more caring community for all.

The standout feature of Ragdoll Hit is its physics-driven combat system. Characters swing, tumble, and crash into each other in ways that feel natural yet unpredictable.
