Friends of Youth is delighted to introduce the Willows Youth Services Center, where we will provide drop-in and overnight shelter services to clients aged 18 to 24 beginning Monday, January 22, 2024. This cutting-edge new facility will operate 24/7, including holidays.
Designed in collaboration with young adult clients of Friends of Youth, the Willows Youth Services Center offers essential amenities, including meals from a commercial kitchen, improved laundry services, private sleeping areas, and access to behavioral health counseling and employment support services.
In October 2023, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony with esteemed guests, including Congresswoman Suzan DelBene, King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci, Amy Falcone from Kirkland City Council, and other key supporters.
As part of this transition, the last day for Overnight Emergency Shelter at the "The Landing" in Redmond will be Sunday, January 21, 2024.
