Friends of Youth completed the re-accreditation process this spring through the Council on Accreditation (COA). On May 15, 2024, the agency was informed it was officially re-accredited!
Upholding this designation signifies that Friends of Youth adheres to exemplary service standards that align with the latest and most effective practices in the human services field. Embracing a philosophy of continuous improvement, Friends of Youth persistently pursues enhancement in service quality, aiming to empower youth and young adults to fulfill their goals and dreams.
Achieving this status required an intensive quality audit across administrative and programmatic principles. Overall, Friends of Youth reviewed 992 standards demonstrating a commitment to quality services for those who need them most.
