Thank you to all our supporters who participated in Friends of Youth's event on April 27, 2023! Last night, Friends of Youth hosted our third in-person event in April to celebrate youth and the support we receive from our employees, partners, and community.
The event was held at The Kirkland Youth Services Center, and we are grateful for the participation of our employees and community in taking the time to take part with us in this celebration.
Thank you to our panelists Yvonne-Monique Aviva, Melissa Rios, Jill May, and Kris Sanborn for the great conversations about the current issues around foster care. An extra special thanks and appreciation to our MC, Friends of Youth’s very own Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Terri Glaberson, for leading the program.
We have a goal of raising $500,000 to continue to support our programs and making sure the youth we are serving are facing zero days of vulnerability. We have currently raised $421,612!
Even though Celebration of Youth Special Events are ending, there is still more work to be done and still time to donate and make a difference in our youths’ lives. Your support would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping us provide much-needed resources to foster youths.
