Matsen House is Friends of Youth’s Specialized Treatment Program that addresses the sexual behavior issues of adolescent males between the ages of 13 to 18.
Following National Standards of Treatment, the program includes:
- Active support for the family's participation in therapy, helping them understand the dynamics of treatment and promoting a supportive atmosphere.
- Up to 10 weekly therapeutic groups utilizing evidence based on therapeutic approaches such as: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Family Therapy, Chemical Dependency, and Individual therapy are provided at no additional fee.
- Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider and/or Affiliate Sex Offender Treatment Provider on campus.
