Street Outreach

Outreach Line: 425-869-6490 x 342

The Street Outreach Program for homeless youth offers referral information, crisis intervention, counseling and case management to homeless youth. To break down the barriers and build trust, Outreach teams go to locations where youth gather. The teams arrive in a van equipped with food, clothing, hygiene supplies, first aid, bus tickets and referral information. The van also transports youths to shelter, health clinics and job interviews.

Outreach can help homeless youth with emergency shelter, transitional living programs, food, clothing, pregnancy issues, education, legal assistance, parenting resources, CPS reporting, mental health counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, crisis counseling, DSHS, and ongoing support and advocacy.

Outreach also offers the Teen Feed program. Every Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Kirkland Teen Union Building, Outreach hosts a dinner for homeless youth and young adults. Food is served and youth can connect with Outreach staff for referrals and case management if needed.

Ages served: Homeless young people (up to age 23) throughout east King County
