New Ground Avondale Park (NGAP) in Redmond, Washington includes 18
units for families with children, couples without children, and single young
adults ages 18-24. Residents may have multiple children of any
age; they are not limited to one child as in other programs. Our staff
offers supportive case management services that help residents set goals,
complete their GED, high school, or enter college courses, obtain
employment, secure childcare, apply for health care and benefits, and much
more on an as-needed basis. Our program also offers employment specialist
services for unemployed residents or those looking for alternative
employment. Parenting classes, life skills training, access to
resources and referrals, financial management and budget planning, and the
development of healthy relationships are additional services that are
provided on site.
Residents at New Ground Avondale Park are eligible to live in their own apartment unit for up to 24 months. There is an on-site case management
office and a large community room for group events. There is an
on-site resource center with internet access to accommodate job and housing
searches.
New Ground Avondale Park is located on Avondale Road in Redmond with easy access to the Metro-Transit bus lines. New Ground Avondale Park is located near Target, grocery stores, parks, and the Family Resource Center is a short bus ride away.
