Counseling and Family Support

Friends of Youth’s offices in Issaquah and the Snoqualmie Valley have partnered with local schools and communities to provide counseling and support for youth and their families. These services include group and/or individual therapy, as well as parenting education and support. Friends of Youth also works with local organizations to help prevent violence and drug abuse in the home and in the community through consultation, training, and presentations.

Highly skilled, Master’s-level counselors meet with youth and parents one-on-one and in family sessions. These counselors are experienced in dealing with challenges including behavior problems, school difficulties, depression and anxiety, ADD and ADHD, sexual or physical abuse, drug and alcohol problems, divorce and remarriage, and illness and death.

In addition, we offer a variety of parenting classes for parents of young children and adolescence. (more)

Friends of Youth determines fees according to family size and income and accepts Medicaid and private insurance carriers.

Ages served: Local youth (18 years old or less) and their families.
