If you’re between 11 and 17 and need emergency short-term shelter:

It’s available 24/7, so one of our team members will always be there to take your call.

If you’re between 18 and 24 and need emergency overnight shelter:

Call The Landing in Redmond at (425) 449-3868. It’s available 7 days a week . Line-up for the shelter is at 8:30 PM and intake begins at 8:45 PM.

Find a supportive place to live:

If you’re a young person without a home, and you need a supportive, positive place to stay for a period of time while you get back on your feet, we have a program for you called New Ground. It’s not just a roof over your head. We’ll help you with a plan to get your life back.


Friends of Youth processes referrals for our housing programs through Coordinated Entry systems in King and Snohomish Counties.

If your household includes one or more children, call 2-1-1 to be screened for Family Housing Connection, the coordinated entry system for family housing in King County.

If you are a single young adult, complete assessment with Youth Housing Connection to be added to the waitlist for all single young adult housing in King County. Visit www.youthhousingconnection.org for a schedule of assessment times and locations.

If you are a youth or young adult interested in housing in Snohomish County, call 425-877-5171 to schedule an assessment with Cocoon House Navigators to be placed on the waitlist for housing in Snohomish County.
